Summer Service Learning Opportunities for Undergrads

(With $2000 honorarium)

Material Culture and Community History

Go behind the scenes at area museums, gain hands-on experience with objects and archives,
and support local communities. This summer, the Material Culture Program at UW-Madison is
partnering with local historical societies in the Madison area and beyond to sponsor five
internships for UW-Madison undergraduate students.

Available Positions

Koshkonong Prairie Historical Society, Cambridge
Hawks Inn, Delafield
Oregon Area Historical Society
Recollection Wisconsin, Madison
“Build Your Own” – develop a project with a local historical organization of your choice
